Colin-oscopy

I realize that this isn't going to help with my street cred but I think Colin Kaepernick is an a-hole. First lets talk about the pig socks.

Call me a pollyanna but the overwhelming percentage of police do a very good job, under very difficult circumstances, Imagine having the worst ills of society thrown in your face every day. They do.
“It’s just ridiculous that the same league that prohibits the Dallas (Cowboys) football club from honoring the slain officers in their community with their uniforms stands silent when Kaepernick is dishonoring police officers with what he’s wearing on the field," Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations
If I was a Bay Area cop I wouldn't work niner games either if this schmuck was on the field. Yes, unfortunately, there are bad cops out there but I don't think you get anywhere when a public figure impugns the entire profession by engaging in this kind of self righteous grandstanding. And who knows Colin, someday you might need a cop? Check your socks...

Showing disrespect to the flag is also out of line. Sitting, kneeling, I don't care. I am not a christian but I occasionally dine with christians that pray before meals. Do I sit or act out while they are praying? Of course not, I quietly bow my head in respect for their beliefs. Because it's not about me and its not about Colin Kaepernick. It's about living in one of the few countries where you can openly express your hatred and disdain for the flag and country while pulling in a cool $114,000,000 contract. And not get shot for doing so. You have every right to protest. I have every right to call you an asshole.

I have a lot of friends in the military. I talked to one force recon guy the other day about the Kaepernick act. He is rightfully disgusted. People go out and fight for our country, have their comrades come back in flag draped coffins and this self appointed avenger with the fat paycheck gets to disrespect that same flag and moralize about the way things should be in a perfect world.

Soon you will be out of a job Colin and you can give everybody a dose of your incredible wisdom from where the rubber meets the road. The place where it counts. Thankfully your fifteen minutes are almost over.

How bout $100,000. a TD to the organizations that fight oppression? Break the NFL TD record with 50-60 TD's and get all that recognition for being a fighter of injustice! How about shoveling out another $50K a game for tickets to give to the poor people who can't afford to see you take a knee before the game which pays your enormous salary? I wonder if he sits on the pine and thinks about how much money he is getting more for one friggin game as a bench warmer than the oppressed people that he takes a knee for get in a lifetime?
You pledge to donate a million in future revenue, but you already have the big bucks Colin, why not give all of this seasons salary to fight injustice?

Can't wait to see his touchdown dance.......
