The storm approacheth...

SAN DIEGO, CA — Tropical Storm Rachel is approaching Southern California, bringing the prospect of dangerous coastal flooding, powerful surf, gusty winds and torrential rain this weekend as an unusual combination of weather systems threatens to create hazardous conditions along the Southern California coastline.

Although the storm has weakened from hurricane strength, it's still expected to reach landfall as a tropical storm - not something California has seen since 1939, according to Accuweather.

Now of course we don't know exactly where it will hit but be prepared, might get a little wetter than you think. Could be very close to home. Be prepared.
