I do believe that yesterday August 9th, was the eighteenth anniversary of Jerry Garcia's passing. God, has it really been that long? Left a big hole in many lives, including mine. Big footsteps, too big to fill...
fortunately Jerry left a lot of beauty for us to enjoy; it's natural and appropriate to mourn his passing, but also to be grateful for all he left us; apologies for the awful pun; what a blessing he was; we were lucky to have him as long as we did.
