Leslie and I were huge fans of the late Arthur Lee and Love. The first black hippy. We caught over 16 shows the last three or four years of his life and befriended the band. Such an amazing artist!
This cut came up on Leslie's Pandora feed this morning when we were playing cards. I didn't recognize it.
"Who is this, Hendrix?" I asked her.
"It's Arthur Lee."
Not sure how I missed it but I like it. I assume that is Johnny Echols playing guitar.

We used to play guitars together in my shop.
He used a very light pick and had a cool and unique style.
He introduced us to both Arthur Lee and Paul Barrere.
He passed a few years ago, we miss him a lot and we miss seeing Love too.
