John Matthew Fisher

I got an early call today. My beautiful, brilliant, baby brother Johnny has passed away. We are awaiting a coroner's report but his life had been in a spiral. Flying to Pittsburgh soon to pick up his things and clean up his apartment.

My worst fears have been answered.

I come from a very bright family. He may have been the smartest of the bunch but had been dealt a very bad hand. I will miss him terribly.

More later.

Robert…my heartfelt condolences; Losing a sibling is far far worse to me than losing a parent. I have walked in your shoes over this twice, so I get it. I’ll be thinking of you.

Robert, I only knew him a short time but John (Jack, to me) left an indelible impression on my heart. He was a brilliant man, creative, funny, and kind. I’ll always feel a connection to him. My heart goes out to you and the family.
