Republicans, after failing to extend ACA subsidies that will result in tripling of insurance premiums in many states, are in a world of political hurt.
They could not extend the subsidies without inserting a bunch of anti abortion language that was not going to fly with the Democrats but insisted on by the Susan B. Anthony types.
Tonight Trump was nice and conciliatory towards Dems for the first time in memory, pushing for a bi-partisan solution as a way to share the political heat.
No thanks.
You waited how many years to deal with this and did nothing and now want the Democrats to bail you out?
