Fallbrook Film Festival

Dear Friends,

As you may know, I am a judge for the Fallbrook Film Festival. Those of you who attended the Festival last year know what a very special event it was. This April 23rd through 26th will be the second year for the Festival. Fred Willard will be our special guest this year. I hope that you can all attend. I have screened some incredible films this year and look forward to sharing them with you.

We are operating on practically no operating budget. Although we are grateful that some donations have been made of materials, we need some funds to pull this thing off. I realize how tight things are for everybody right now but ask if you will please join me in making a small donation to the Festival. We need five thousand dollars just to breathe. I am going to contribute $250.00 out of my pocket. If I can find 20 more people that can do the same we can give you a professional looking Fallbrook Film Festival that we can all be proud of. If you know anyone else that might be willing to contribute, no matter how small the amount, please forward this link. Donors at the $250.00 level will receive two complimentary VIP passes for admission throughout the festival. If you are able to make a larger contribution, sponsorship opportunities are available that will advertise your contribution. Fallbrook Film Festival is a 501 - c (3) and your donations are tax deductible.

Those that attended last year will tell you that we got an A plus right off the bat. We want to be able to put on an equally great if not better product this year. We had independent film makers fly in from all over the country and a large contingent of people come down from Los Angeles that all commented on the excellent quality and professionalism of the production. This Festival is an excellent venue for small independent film makers to exhibit their work.

Thanks for your consideration. I have never made a request for funding before. I won't give your names out or hammer you in the future. If you need to call me to discuss this matter, email me at blheron at pacbell.net and I will give you my cell phone number. Time is running short. Checks can be made out to the Fallbrook Film Festival and sent to me at the Blue Heron Gallery, 113 N. Main Ave, Fallbrook, CA 92028.

Look forward to seeing you at the movies!

Sincerely,

Robert Sommers
