Arlyne Ingold

A great friend of Fallbrook, known far and wide for her generosity and philanthropic work, passed away yesterday. Arlyne Ingold was 95 years old. She had been ill for the past several years but her symptoms worsened the last several days and she died yesterday morning in her home after slipping into a brief coma.

Arlyne had four children, many grand and great grandchildren. Her kids were all beside her in her last days as was her trusted aide, Carmen.

Arlyne was born to Sebastian and Mary Ann Walz on December 27, 1917, in Carroll, IA, and moved with her family to Los Angeles at the age of three. She was married to the late Robert Ingold and they were longtime residents of the friendly village.

Arlyne will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She was known for her vivacity, sense of humor and the way she enjoyed life with so much gusto. Fallbrook owes this woman a lot, she did so many wonderful things for our town.
