We went over to our good friends Ron and Lena's home for the fourth of July, something that we have done for decades, thanks to our wonderful and very gracious hosts. Ron has a new trick. He has trained three of the lizards that share his abode to come at his call and dine on a worm or two.
I witnessed this squamate reptillian repast with two different members of his flock. Quite impressive. Later while he was barbecuing, a lizard came over and nibbled on his big toe, signaling that he too was ready to dine.
Remarkable!
