I took the afternoon off yesterday and drove off to my happy place. Didn't see anything earth shattering and it was sort of slow but the color of the water was gorgeous and I did see a female and this male vermilion flycatcher.
They are so beautiful and they make my day!
It is funny, as I get older, I really don't have to take pictures just to take pictures. I have a lot of good ones in my bag and it feels better just being in nature and enjoying than having to record all the time.
