Sunset, Portuguese Bend

Leslie and I had a very pleasant evening exploring our friends' Leven and Bethany's ancestral homeland up the coast.

He grew up in a Lloyd Wright designed home near the Wayfarer's Chapel, which we also visited. Then dinner in San Pedro where I supped on sand dabs. Nice evening.

I used to house sit my great aunt Jeannie's home, and her german short hair Tick with my Grandmother in the summertime during the '60s. The house was perched on top of the cliff. It had a privatw path down the cliff all the way to the rocky beach and tide pools below (the cliff was two, maybe three hundred feet high!). You could hear the sound of crashing waves echoing off the cliff at night from the master bedroom...Max
