Blooms before the deluge

I noticed yesterday morning that the night blooming cereus that I have planted in the pindo palm was ready to fire in a big way.

The epiphyte is filled with ginormous blossoms ready to open.

Today was the day when the hylocereus undatus let go.

Some of these blooms are larger than a foot across. It is putting on quite a show.

All of our yards are about to get a really good water! Your avos will be in heaven.
