I thought I was pretty well versed on my mammal taxonomy, never even heard of this little bad ass. Scary dude. And the bigger version is now extinct. Did you watch the wild cat video I posted recently? Turns out that snow leopards diverged from tigers and are more closely related to lions than they are to leopards. Who knew?
