Heroes in Phoenix

Bittersweet but awesome story behind the paywall at WaPo. Retired marine and ex football player dives to save a three year old child thrown by a mother out of a burning building. Unfortunately the mother perished. Bravo, Philip Banks and D’Artagnan Alexander, another hero who ran into the burning building and saved the young boy's sister.
