This is the legendary session where legendary keyboardist Otis Spann hooked up with Fleetwood Mac's Peter Green, Danny Kirwan and John McVie. Spann brought his own drummer along, S.P. Leary.
Recorded in Chicago in 1969. Before Someday Soon you can hear Spann yelling,“I want you to start playing, I want BB King shit.” Green obliged.
Confirms why B.B. King once said "Peter Green was the only living guitarist to make me sweat. He had the sweetest tone I've ever heard”.
