I think the issue has now been satisfactorily resolved after an interminable period of countless calls to various tech centers in which both Enom and Google pointed fingers at each other and said, the "other guy should fix it."
Thank you for everybody at tech support that helped, no thanks to the one or two people that could not figure it out and preferred to be obstructive. Thanks to my readers for hanging in. We don't ever actually die in this life, we just get the dreaded 404 message.
