I was amazed reading these comments from Laura Ingraham yesterday. I am going to print what I read verbatim, with my annotations in red. What world does she live in? We all want things to be "back to normal" but does it serve any useful purpose to pretend it is so, when it is plainly not?
Here is the headline:
College football fans pack stadiums send message "we're done" to Fauci and Biden. We're onto the public health sector's sick, twisted game, said Ingraham.
We're in the midst of the resurgence of a deadly pandemic, the delta strain. Hospitals are full, more and more young people are getting sick and dying. And Ingraham giddily applauds people getting jammed together in close proximity at football stadiums. Sounds like Governor Noem, pre- Sturgis, can't wait for the big heehaw and the resulting death toll.
Perhaps those fear mongers are merely trying to keep you alive?
How dare they try to keep people from getting together in large groups and killing each other?
More like seriously mentally challenged and suicidal than pariahs.
Have at it.
In the words of Mick Jagger " You can't always get what you want."
We'll miss you. Congregate away. But please stay away from the rest of us. Enjoy the football, hope the teams can stay on the field for the whole season.
