Leica S

Kip bought a very nice new medium format camera, the current Leica S. He brought it over today to show me and brought along some prints. They are really nice. I hope to go shoot with him soon. I would love to have one of these one day. I shot with one a few years ago and they take some work to use effectively but the bouquet bokeh and glass is wonderful.

He took this shot of yours truly this afternoon in front of my store, close to wide open. Very nice camera. Subject not so great.

Thanks for the spelling correction Ken, truly. Honestly bothers the crap out of me. I took exactly one shot with the Leica, of my car and I don't think you will be too interested in it. We are going to go out shooting soon though and maybe I will take another crack at it, if he lets me.

If you go out and he lets you use the Leica S put the strap over your neck. I recently let a friend use an expensive lens and he dropped it. Expensive error!

You know funny you should say that. He has it on a strap with a plastic quick release. I had one break on an expensive camera and caught it right before it hit the ground. Would never do that again.
