Hey Nineteen

The rocket fuel perchlorate has been found to cause fetal damage in infants and lower babies' i.q.'s. The Trump administration has decided to defy a court order that required the agency to establish a safe drinking-water standard for the chemical by the end of June. Great, just what we need, more stupid people.

They have decided to not regulate the chemical in any way, on the advice of Lockheed, Grumman and Aerojet Rocketdyne, among other defense contractors.
...high concentrations have been found in at least 26 states, often near military installations where it has been used as an additive in rocket fuel, making propellants more reliable. Research has shown that by interfering with the thyroid gland’s iodine uptake, perchlorate can stunt the production of hormones essential to the development of fetuses, infants and children.
The new policy will revoke the 2011 E.P.A. finding that perchlorate presents serious health risks to between 5 million and 16 million people and should be regulated.
This is par for the course for this administration.  Last week I saw this article; The Trump administration is reversing 100 environmental rules. It is a pretty comprehensive review of the decimation of environmental protection during this administration's tenure. Of course, I know many of you are down with that and probably think it is a good thing.

Here are the first nineteen:
Hey screw the environment.

Who really needs it? The only people who care about it are liberals and tree huggers, right?

This! I hate this most of all about the Dump presidency. We can fix most of the criminal and governance stuff in a couple of years, but environmental setbacks might never get corrected. Where do they find the people to willingly do this kind of casual evil?
