Trump was using this song at his rallies... playing it for the crowds at 100 Db! ugly ( bigly) ironic that this song is about the sons of the wealthy and well positioned that were able to escape service during the Vietnam war. Trump was one of those Fortunate Sons. i guess whomever picked this song to play for the crowds did not know it's meaning!
You didn’t have to be wealthy to escape Vietnam u could go to Canada or just move alot as my bro did or u could hire a cheap attorney that would find 101 excuses to keep u out or be lucky as me to get high number. Sad war knew a lot that didn’t come home
