The Mississippi Governor, a Republican, is having second thoughts
about re-opening his state after a spike in Covid cases.
“The increase was a large enough change to make me take a step back, reexamine things and must hold on and reconsider at least over the weekend,” the governor said. “Not to recklessly put people in harms way.”
All I can say is, good for you Tate Reeves. It is rare for a politician of either party to take a step back and reassess once they have made a call on an issue. Sounds like you truly care about your constituency. Flexibility is good.
