The Red tailed hawk mother was perched on the edge of the nest as I drove by this morning.
You can see a portion of her nicitating membrane which results in what looks like an evil eye.
The progeny are so big in a single week that she must now sit on the edge of the nest and can no longer share it with them.
I didn't stick around.
