Powers of Ten™

This is an adaptation of the book Cosmic View by the Dutch writer Kees Boeke, written in 1957, the year I was born. We had the book in our library when I was a young child and it always fascinated me, each pop taking you in or out by a tenth power. In the book there was a lump of sugar on the man's hand and an ant, if I remember correctly. There were both earlier and later versions of the film, written and directed by modernist designers Charles and Ray Eames. A good book and film for gaining cosmic perspective.

The original Disneyland had a free ride from Monsanto that would take you into the cells of your hand. It was a favorite with amateur psychonauts.
