Peter Green

They just had a large tribute to Peter Green in London. Not sure if he was there or what shape he is in these days?

Fellow Fleetwood Mac alum Jeremy Spencer even showed up and I guess rocked the house with a slide version of Elmore James classic The sky is crying.

I watched a video from the tribute where John Mayall led a group in the Otis Rush song All your love that was pretty good with Billy Gibbons supplying lead guitar.

This was of course a Bluesbreakers song that Clapton covered during his tenure with the band.

Green had such a clean and lovely guitar sound. Wonderful musician.

The acoustic version of Albatross has great tone on the guitars. Mayall's voice is still really good!
